Society in the Brave New World has completely accepted technology advancements and now will continue to live a happy and carefree life for many millennium. Technology has and will support the human race as we continue to expand our knowledge on endless subjects and topics. Hopefully technology will help us hold peace with one another as it has done for many years before. in conclusion to all my sarcastic Brave New World Posts, Technology can be beneficial to society, but can also be very dangerous in areas sch as drugs and the fact that they can grow infants in Brave New World. Overall i believe that Technology is beneficial to a growing society and i hope that throughout my lifetime i get to witness some magical technological advances. Thank You, and goodnight.

Brave New World Chapters:17-18 " Success"
‘Our civilization has chosen machinery and medicine and happiness’ ” (Huxley 234).
Brave New World Chapters: 15-16 "Holographic food"
“ ‘We could synthesize every morsel of food, if we wanted to. But we don’t. We prefer to keep a third of the population on the land’ ” (Huxley 224).
Technology has advanced so much in Brave New World that they can synthesize healthy food to feed the people. Starvation will never be a problem ever again. With the help of technology, the human race can now support themselves without the nutrients mother nature gave us to begin with. We have come so far that we no longer need any support. It is as if the human race had just turned 18 and is moving out of the household to live independently. The people of the Brave New World are now free from any of mother natures constraints. Hopefully the limits on technology have been removed and the mere aspect of acquiring more knowledge will drive the people of the Brave New World to discover more to provided a greater advancement in technology.

Brave New World Chapters: 13-14 " Mr. Foster, a great man who died in peace"
"It was a large room bright with sunshine and yellow paint, and containing twenty beds, all occupied. Linda was dying in company—in company and with all the modern conveniences. The air was continuously alive with gay synthetic melodies. At the foot of every bed, confronting its moribund occupant, was a television box. Television was left on, a running tap, from morning till night. Every quarter of an hour the prevailing perfume of the room was automatically changed. 'We try,' explained the nurse, who had taken charge of the Savage at the door, 'we try to create a thoroughly pleasant atmosphere here—something between a first-class hotel and a feely-palace, if you take my meaning.'" (Huxley, 198)
Technology provides comfort to those who need it most. Hospice in the Brave New World provides a comfortable, peaceful, and emotional place to pass away your final days.. The hospice in this world helps the dying to be comfortable and not be afraid of death. What we do today for those in Hospice is provide them with 'homey' items that help the ill to die in peace. Technology in the Brave New World allows us to provide certain smells and designs that comfort the brain. This is a great advancement and is beneficial to a society that relies on its citizens to be in a comfortable stable state of mind.

Brave New World Chapter: 12 "is it possible?"
"...the purpose of life was not the maintenance of well-being, but some intensification and refining of consciousness, some enlargement of knowledge"(Huxley 177).
The purpose of technological advancement is not to make us happier or to make life easier. The purpose is for us to expand what it means to be human. We should constantly seek to raise the bar higher, not to squeamishly keep the status level. Is there a ceiling? An end after which we can no longer progress? If such a thing exists, it would be our duty to find it and reach it. Technology is meant to enhance humanities knowledge and understandings of the world we live in. Understanding the full potential of our surroundings is something that technology is meant to uncover.

Brave New World Chapter: 11 "make me young again please"
"If we could rejuvenate, of course it would be different. But we can't." (Huxley 154)
Aging, for some, is a terrifying idea. Some women nowadays are scared to become old and wrinkly. quiet frankly, these people are afraid of becoming what i like to call a 'Veggie' , a useless human being that has no benefit to society, but just sits there and requires food and other resources. If you think about it, the idea of living young until the end of your days is pretty intriguing, imagine if we could have used this technology to keep the great minds of our century alive and coming up with new ideas. Technology is very useful to keep the Alphas young and in their prime in the Brave New World. We do not want our supreme caste to look like a lower caste now would we?

Brave New World Chapters: 9-10 "Grow Me Another"
“From eighteen hundred bottles eighteen hundred carefully labeled infants were simultaneously sucking down their pint of pasteurized external secretion” (Huxley 147).
Technological advancements have benefited society greatly by maximizing the efficiency at which something is done. 1800 infants are drinking their 'juice' all at the same time, maximizing the time needed to produce one infant. Also, the labels on the infants jar determines their job in the future. This also helps efficiency and society greatly because it allows only a certain number of infants to be produced for a certain job. No more excess of infants for a job! These specialized people will be infinitely better than random birthed babies for the stability and sustainability society needs. Technology has never been greater.

Brave New World Chapter: 8 "Magic!"
"How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is!" (Huxley 139)
Technology has an amazing effect on people. If you are far enough ahead of someone else in technological advancement, the simple day to day advances you take for granted can be magic for someone else.John is entranced by the idea of accompanying Bernard to the Brave New World. He can not wait to see all the new technological advances. Technology enhances life as we know it and it becomes a necessity. New Technological advances would only make our daily lives that much more impressive. As we develop more and more luxuries, other people will look up to us and want the same thing, requiring them to become more technologically advanced. This would help create smarter societies throughout the whole world.

Brave New World Chapter: 7 " Cougars ;)"
“ ‘We don’t permit their magnesium-calcium ratio to fall below what it was at thirty. We give them transfusion of young blood. We keep their metabolism permanently stimulated’ ” (Huxley 111).
The quote provided generates an argument for the idea that scientific and technological advancements benefit humanity. This is done by by providing an explanation for the Brave New World’s cure for old age. In the Brave New World, science is used to cease aging. It is explained that they stay as healthy as when they were thirty-year old. This is a huge advancement in society because it allows a reliable healthy work force that doesn't depreciate because of old age. People can work until the day they die. This ties into a previous blog when i stated that the Brave New World relies on stability and sustainability. a Sable work force is exactly what the Brave New World needs to keep up with the demands of people.

Brave New World Chapter: 6 "What a time to be Alive"
"Progress is lovely, isn't it?" (Huxley 100).
Lenina's hypnopaedic phrases seem to irritate Bernard, but he can't find any evidence that disproves her statements. This is because there is no evidence that disproves the statement. Progress is something that develops more and more over time, and as we have seen throughout the past few blogs, technology has been progressing to help comfort people in the Brave New World. Soma, for example, has been created as a distraction from all the stressful/ painful situations that someone may be in. the director in Brave New World was lost in the savage reservation at one point in his life He had lost his soma and the pain from his fall was agonizing and prevented him from getting back to the house for some time. If the Director had not lost his soma, his way back to the rest house would have been pain free and much much quicker, allowing less time for blood loss. As technology progresses, the luxuries of being born in this time become even greater. What a time to be alive.

Brave New World Chapter: 5 "Eat me when i die kids"
"'Now they recover over ninety-eight per cent of it. More than a kilo and a half per adult corpse.... Fine to think that we can go on being socially useful even after we're dead. Making plants grow"' (Huxley 73).
The society in Brave New World is built on stability and sustainability through technology. One way they achieve this is through the completion of the Phosphorus Cycle. As plants and animals die, the nitrogen in their bodies is released into the ground. Plants then use this nitrogen to grow and prosper. If we eat these plants, we ingest their nitrogen and become nitrogen rich ourselves. As we die and are buried, we start the cycle over again until another human consumes the same particle of nitrogen we had many years before. We, in the Brave New World, speed up this cycle by eliminating the time needed for decomposition. A large cremation plant captures all the nitrogen released from the cremating bodies and turns it into the nitrogen that plants absorb. The nitrogen captured is then released to plants that will be consumed, hence the title "eat me when i die kids".

Brave New World Chapter: 4 "Star Wars"
"He started the engines and threw the helicopter screws into gear. the machine shot vertically into the air. Henry accelerated; the humming of the propeller shrilled from hornet to wasp, from wasp to mosquito; the speedometer showed that they were rising at the best part of two kilometres a minute." (Huxley 61).
Technological Advancement help transportation greatly, as we flood the ground with cars today, Brave New World uses the free airspace above us. Technology can help us manage the traffic in a whole new dimension. No longer will we have to wait on crowded freeways for hours on end while we move at 10 mph, we could now fly at incredible speeds to wherever we would like to go without the hassle of crowded roads. By simply using technology to manage complicated things like airspace, we can make our lives much easier. This would also allow us to save time, money, and possibly the environment if we found ways to make the helicopters more 'green'.

Brave New World Chapter: 3 "Don't Starve Me, Daddy"
"Wheels must turn steadily, but cannot turn untended. There must be men to tend them, men as steady as the wheels upon axles, sane men, obedient men, stable in contentment." (Huxley 42).
Here, Huxley describes how we need constant men to run the government. This can only happen with new advancements in technology. in this quote, Mustapha Mond is giving a speech on how life in Brave New World has changed and states that before the population system was put in place, the human race would go through drastic levels in population change as the food levels would only support a certain amount of people. with the help of technology, we can keep the population at its maximum. With the help of technology we can prevent starvation and the surplus of goods simply by regulation births. Over-population can be fixed with the help of technology.

Brave New World Chapter: 2 "Call Me Zeus"
"What man has joined, nature is powerless to put asunder" (Huxley 22).
The human races has always knelt to the hands of mother nature. We fear natural disasters and are unable to prevent the deadly viruses that are thrown at us. Soon, we will be able to rise above mother nature and overthrow her tight grip on all of humanity with new technological advances such as genetic modification, and precious unbreakable buildings that will shelter us from mother natures wrath as she tries to take back the throne. We have called ourselves the masters of our planet without any control of what our planet does. With modern science we can become the supreme beings that we claim to be: the most dominant species on Earth.

Brave New World Chapter: 1 "OH, Hello"
"'To improve their sense of balance,' Mr. Foster explained. 'Doing repairs on the outside of a rocket in mid-air is ticklish job'" (Huxley 17).
Every child is born different. While some excel at math or science, others excel in language or simply in physique. In Brave New World , technological advances such as genetic modification everyone can be born into the world with perfect genes for their predestined job. Genetic diseases and other disadvantages could also be ruled out and never seen again. We could build legends like Einstein or Aristotle from the ground up and become a more intelligent society. with no more random babies with diseases or mutations, we could take evolution into our own hands.
