The quote provided generates an argument for the idea that scientific and technological advancements benefit humanity. This is done by by providing an explanation for the Brave New World’s cure for old age. In the Brave New World, science is used to cease aging. It is explained that they stay as healthy as when they were thirty-year old. This is a huge advancement in society because it allows a reliable healthy work force that doesn't depreciate because of old age. People can work until the day they die. This ties into a previous blog when i stated that the Brave New World relies on stability and sustainability. a Sable work force is exactly what the Brave New World needs to keep up with the demands of people.
